Data Centre Project Manager – Scotland (Development & Pre-Construction)

We’re looking for an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to drive the early-stage development of major data centre projects across the UK. If you have a strong engineering background and thrive in complex, large-scale development environments, this role offers the chance to shape some of the most significant digital infrastructure projects in the country.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead the front-end development of new data centre sites — from site identification and feasibility through planning, permitting, and pre-construction readiness. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure each project is technically robust, commercially viable, and aligned with regulatory and community expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning, permitting, and consenting strategies for new data centre developments.
• Support site acquisition and feasibility assessments alongside land, commercial, and development teams.
• Act as the pre-construction lead across internal functions.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Chartered Engineer or Architect (or equivalent professional status).
• Significant experience in data centre design and/or project management.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of permitting processes, building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
