We’re looking for a Principal Ecologist to take a leading role within a growing, multidisciplinary environmental team. This is an opportunity to shape project delivery, support team development and play a key part in the continued growth of the ecology service.

You’ll work on projects across the UK - from major infrastructure to complex habitat and species work - with the scope to lead EcIA and HRA inputs, oversee technical quality and guide a motivated team across multiple offices in Scotland. You’ll also help strengthen client relationships and contribute to business development as the organisation expands.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading ecological inputs on a variety of high-profile projects
• Overseeing technical quality and supporting project design and delivery
• Managing client relationships and contributing to bids and proposals
• Mentoring and developing ecologists across the team
• Undertaking and reviewing ecological surveys and assessments
• Working closely with a wider environmental and planning team
