Paraplanner or junior paraplanner

A well-established financial advisory firm based south of Glasgow is seeking a highly client-focused senior IFA administrator or junior paraplanner/paraplanner to join their team. This is a pivotal role designed to support the principal adviser, enabling them to focus more on client-facing responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

•    Provide comprehensive paraplanning and administrative support
•    Prepare suitability reports and assist with client reviews
•    Confidently manage and maintain the Intelligent Office (IO) system
•    Liaise with key providers including Nucleus, Prudential, and AJBell
•    Support investment research and analysis (experience with FE Analytics and Adviser Asset is advantageous but not essential)
•    Ensure exceptional client service and communication at all times

Candidate Requirements

•    Demonstrable experience working within an IFA office
•    Strong working knowledge of Intelligent Office (IO) is essential
•    Familiarity with platforms such as Nucleus, Prudential, and AJBell
•    Ideally working towards or already achieved Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
•    Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
•    Must be 100% client-orientated

Career Progression & Vision
This role is part of a strategic plan to grow the business by freeing up the principal adviser to focus solely on clients. Over time, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to progress into an adviser role, with further recruitment planned to support this transition.
