Maintenance Electrician - Fife

Our client, who are based in Fife, and are a global leader in flow control solutions, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance activities as part of an established site-based maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the implementation of a comprehensive Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, circuit diagrams / schematics and O&M manuals.
A strong electrical fault-finding capability in reactive maintenance.
A Great attention to detail carrying out planned maintenance activities.
A strong team working ethic with a flexible working approach.
Experience working with 415V Motors and auxiliary control equipment/systems.
Experience working with PLCs, star/delta startups & variable speed drives (VSD).
Assist with the development of apprentice worker(s)
Help mechanical fitters or other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Strong problem-solving skills

Requirements:

Time served electrician, qualified to BS 7671 IEE Regulations 18th Edition.
Demonstrating previous experience in a similar role is essential.
A full UK driving License is essential.
Training and competency with regards to the safe isolation of electrical and mechanical equipment essential.
Training and qualifications related to LOLER, PUWER and DSEAR regulations an advantage.
11kv High Voltage competency desirable but not essential.
Good communicator with the ability to effectively present information in written and verbal format.
Ability to work at height and in confined spaces - Physically demanding role.
