SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNER

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Financial Planner, you’ll manage a portfolio of approximately 300 clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through tailored pension plans, investment strategies, and financial forecasting. You’ll play a key role in growing our business by generating new assets and revenue, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver holistic financial planning consultations and annual reviews.

Manage client investment portfolios to ensure stability and growth.

Recommend pension and retirement solutions tailored to individual needs.

Provide financial forecasts and debt management strategies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory changes.

Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with internal teams including paraplanners, compliance, and operations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data and develop strategies.

Proven experience in financial planning and investment management.

Degree educated or equivalent professional qualification.

Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and up-to-date CPD.

Familiarity with the CFP six-step financial planning process.

Strong understanding of UK financial laws and FCA regulations.

DESIRABLE:

Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards).

Experience using financial planning software.
