Location: Perth, Scotland

Salary: £45,000 – £58,000 (DOE)

Reporting to: Ecology Business Manager

A forward-thinking environmental consultancy based in Perth is seeking a Senior Ecology Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across Scotland. With a team of around 30 experienced staff, the company works across renewables, utilities, infrastructure, and the built environment, delivering high-quality outcomes for a wide range of clients.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage complex ecology projects
• Prepare fee proposals and quotations
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Act as the main client contact
• Monitor budgets and timelines
• Integrate specialist ecological input into planning and reporting
• Mentor and support team members

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

• 5+ years’ experience in environmental or planning consultancy
• Degree or master’s in ecology, environmental science, or related field
• Strong project coordination and budget management skills
• Proven ability to manage client expectations
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience with project management software (e.g., WFM)
• APM membership or equivalent
• Experience with ArcGIS
• Background in biodiversity, renewables, or regulatory compliance
