Role Overview
The CEO will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of the agency. This includes driving revenue growth, nurturing client relationships, building a high-performing team, and ensuring the agency remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the agencyâs long-term strategy in alignment with market trends and client needs.
- Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key clients and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Innovation & Brand Positioning: Champion innovation in marketing practices and position the agency as a thought leader in the industry.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure the agency operates within legal and ethical frameworks and adheres to best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
- Strong commercial acumen and track record of driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of marketing trends, digital transformation, and client expectations.
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to build and retain top talent.
- Experience working with boards and managing investor/stakeholder relationships.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent leadership qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Familiarity with the Scottish and wider UK marketing landscape.
