Eden Scott Accountancy & Finance Division is delighted to be supporting our key client in Edinburgh as they seek a Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including:

• Processing payments and managing supplier invoices
• Reconciling ticket sales across multiple platforms
• Bookkeeping using Xero and Dext
• Supporting budget tracking in Xero Projects
• Preparing and maintaining profit and loss reports with director oversight
• Producing weekly internal finance reports
• Tracking event budgets including artist, marketing, and operational costs
• Managing purchase orders and staff expenses
• Monitoring debtors and chasing unpaid invoices
• Processing staff expense claims

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can confidently manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively across teams. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience with Xero would be advantageous
• Experience within a similar role 
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies
• Strong communication skills and confidence in following up with colleagues and directors
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
