What You’ll Do

• Lead and deliver complex aquatic field surveys: macroinvertebrates, macrophytes, fish (electrofishing, netting, translocations)
• Conduct water quality, hydrology and habitat assessments
• Prepare and review technical reports and impact assessments (WFD, HRA, EcIA)
• Manage medium-scale projects: budgets, timelines and client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior ecologists
• Contribute to restoration, R&D and wider research initiatives

What You Bring

• Chartered (CIEEM) or equivalent professional status
• Proven experience in aquatic ecology fieldwork and assessments
• Strong technical writing and project-management skills
• A passion for biodiversity enhancement and sustainable design
• Full UK driving licence
