Paraplanner

A well-established and expanding financial planning organisation is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its technical support team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside advisers and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial planning solutions for a diverse client base.

The successful individual will play a key role in supporting advisers through detailed analysis, research and report preparation. Working behind the scenes, they will ensure that recommendations are robust, compliant and tailored to individual client needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting client data and preparing detailed financial analysis
• Conducting product and provider research to support advice strategies
• Producing clear, compliant suitability reports and documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring systems are up to date
• Liaising with advisers and administrative teams to support the end-to-end client journey

Candidate Profile

This role would suit a technically capable and detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving and working with complex information.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• A recognised qualification in financial planning (or progress towards it)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data
• Confidence in forming well-reasoned conclusions and recommendations
• A collaborative approach and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Good organisational skills and a high level of accuracy
