Due to ongoing growth, an award winning wealth management business with offices across the UK require 2 paraplanners to join their team. The positions are to support the Scotland team, but largely remote with ad-hoc visits to the offices. Part and full time roles available. This position plays a key role in supporting financial advisers by preparing high-quality technical analysis, research, and client-ready reports. The successful candidate will:
- Participate in adviser debriefs to clarify client objectives, information gaps, and required actions.
- Gather and review essential financial information, carrying out analysis to inform planning discussions.
- Research financial products and strategies that align with client aims and risk profiles.
- Produce clear, accurate draft recommendation reports using the latest templates and internal guidance.
- Ensure all compliance, sign-off, and administrative requirements are fully met.
- Prepare and manage application paperwork and ensure submission processes are followed correctly.
- Maintain accurate client and case data across back-office systems.
- Support ongoing client servicing, such as processing fund switches, withdrawals, or updates.
- Operate within agreed workflows, service standards, and regulatory expectations.
What the organisation is looking for
- A Regulated Diploma in Financial Planning (CII) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of the financial planning process and paraplanning workflows.
- Ability to work independently within established procedures and deliver work within set timescales.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Confident communicator with strong report-writing ability.
- Proficient IT user with a positive, solution-focused approach.
- Awareness of the regulatory environment and a commitment to operating with accuracy and integrity.
