A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced paraplanner to join a fully independent and expanding financial planning business in Glasgow. Experience is key as they can support studies whilst progress or completion of level 4 diploma is preferred, it is not a pre requisite. In addition they could also support an experienced individual working in an adviser office in a hands on IFA administration role to take their next step in their career.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the advisory function by conducting in-depth research, analysing financial data, and preparing comprehensive planning documents. This position involves working closely with advisers to ensure recommendations are accurate, compliant, and aligned with client objectives with the support of the administrastion team. Responsibilities include reviewing investment strategies, monitoring market developments, and contributing to the creation of bespoke financial plans that reflect evolving client needs.
Ideal Profile
- Level 4 diploma qualified, or close to completion with a willingness to study
- Experience working supporting financial advisers within an IFA, investment manager or provider
- Solid understanding of financial planning principles and investment products
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Skilled in producing clear, well-structured reports and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance practices is advantageous
