The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of a designated service area. Working closely with operational leaders, you will provide expert financial insight, ensure robust reporting, and support decision-making that enables services to thrive. This is a senior-level position requiring a proactive, collaborative approach and a strong ability to influence outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted finance partner to operational directors and heads of service, providing strategic financial advice.
- Lead on internal financial reporting for your service area, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
- Support business planning and negotiations with key stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR and organisational development partners to deliver integrated business support.
- Drive improvements in communication, efficiency, and financial protocols across the organisation.
What Weâre Looking For
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in senior-level financial management and monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- A practical, delivery-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
Essential Personal Attributes
- High integrity and professional ethics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a senior team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a âcan-doâ attitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
- As this role is carried out in Christâs name, there is an ongoing occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practicing Christian and uphold the organisationâs Christian ethos (Equality Act 2010).
