We are delighted to be supporting our client, a highly regarded organisation based in Edinburgh city centre, in the recruitment of an Investor Relations Analyst.
This role is a key position within the team and will play an integral part in delivering high quality Investor Relations support. The successful candidate will contribute across reporting, communications, investor engagement, and wider project activity.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail driven, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. This role suits a motivated self starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect Identification & Research: Identify key individuals (e.g., advisors, allocators, decision makers) within target organisations and gather accurate, current contact information. Conduct deeper research into mutual connections, interests, and angles of approach.
- CRM Management: Maintain high quality, timely data within the CRM, ensuring all outreach, engagement, and responses are accurately recorded and up to date.
- Marketing Materials & Fundraising Support: Tailor materials for specific marketing initiatives aimed at securing meetings for Partners. Refine and update investment marketing materials for prospective investors.
- Cross team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the business, particularly the Finance team, to ensure reporting and performance data is current, accurate, and compliant during fundraising activity.
- Prospect Engagement & Follow up: Capture ongoing feedback from engaged prospects, coordinate next steps (e.g., VDR access, distribution of investment documents), and log all interactions within the CRM - including reasons for declined opportunities.
- Communications: Prepare tailored written materials for regular investor communication.
- Closing & Onboarding: Support finance and operations teams with the closing process and on-boarding of new investors.
Requirements
- Quick learner, self starter, and innovative thinker with strong problem solving ability.
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent time management capabilities with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
