Supplying the temporary staff you need

Smart Teachers can provide primary, secondary and SEND schools, academies, MATs and other alternative provision with temporary teaching and support staff when you need them.

Daily supply

If you need emergency same-day supply cover, we aim to respond and supply staff to schools within 15 minutes. It’s that quick! You can also book daily supply in advance for inset days or other planned absences, so with our range of teachers, TAs, HLTAs, cover supervisors and other support staff available, your supply problems are solved.

Short-term

For any slightly longer absences - perhaps a week, 10 days or two weeks, we can pro- vide short-term cover. Our knowledgable recruitment specialists will work with you to understand your exact requirements and expertly match you with the right can- didate who will be reliable and ready to go.

Long-term

Our sessions can be designed to meet your students exact requirements. You decide what to cover, how many sessions, duration and group size and we'll create it. You also don't have to be restricted by the school day - our tutors are available before, during and after school, on weekends and during school holidays.

School-led tutoring

We provide schools tuition support through the NTP’s School-Led Tutoring Scheme, a flexible scheme available this academic year. We can deliver all your catch-up learning to help improve outcomes for your pupils who need it the most.

It is different from other funding schemes because you will have the freedom and flexibility to use it as you see fit - you can decide to use the funding for 1-1 tuition or for small groups of 2 or 3 pupils in years 1-11. You can also decide what subject areas to cover, based on what your students need.
