Tax Manager

We are delighted to be supporting our longstanding client, as they recruit into their tax team at Manager level. Working with an experienced Head of Tax within a company renowned for a strong team dynamic, supportive culture and the opportunity to contribute towards projects and process improvements, this really is a fantastic opportunity. Hybrid working is supported on a basis of 4 days office based, and flexibility in start and finish times.

As International Tax Manager, reporting to the Head of Tax and working closely with the divisional Finance teams, you will have responsibility for the provision of tax support to various countries within the Eastern Hemisphere business including UK and Germany. 

You will manage and support tax audits, review tax returns for allocated entities to ensure technical accuracy and consistency with Group policy (compliance is outsourced), review quarterly and annual tax packs to ensure these are accurate and reflected in the local / Group accounts and review tax payments. 

There will also be a requirement to ensure that relevant intercompany agreements are in place to support transactions and that relevant local transfer pricing documentation is in place and filed.

In addition, there will be the opportunity to support the Head of Tax on other projects as required and also support other team members in areas such as year-end accounting, VAT &  payroll taxes, review bids and provide tax input into contract pricing and contractual terms.

Essential to have is an understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements across a range of countries, with experience of IFRS tax reporting, and you will be a qualified CA or hold a similarly recognised tax qualification.
