Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

A fast-growth  fintech organisation is expanding its engineering team, and we are looking for a talented Ruby on Rails Software Engineer. You will help build the next generation of merchant-focused financial products.

? What you will work on

Building and maintaining production-grade Rails applications
Designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Writing automated tests to ensure quality and reliability
Collaborating across small, high-trust engineering teams

? Tech & Skills required

3–5 years’ experience building real-world Ruby on Rails applications
Strong OO design + MVC fundamentals
Confidence with REST APIs, relational databases and automated testing
A proactive, curious engineer who loves solving problems
Someone who thrives in both solo and collaborative environments
React/JavaScript experience is a bonus — but not essential.
