Senior Ecologist (Remote – Scotland)

Join a growing ecology team with the freedom to work fully remotely from anywhere in Scotland. You’ll be part of a close-knit Scottish group (around 10 ecologists) backed by a wider UK network of 100+ specialists, giving you the best of both worlds: small-team connection with big-team support.

The Role

• Fully remote working with occasional site visits
• Lead ecological inputs across a varied project portfolio
• Produce and review high-quality technical reports
• Build strong client relationships and represent the ecology team confidently
• Mentor and support junior colleagues
• Clear, structured progression towards Principal Ecologist
• Excellent investment in CPD, training and licence development

What You Bring

• Solid experience delivering ecological surveys and technical reporting
• Confidence managing projects, budgets and client expectations
• Skills in one or more specialisms (bats, botany, ornithology, mammals, etc.)
• Strong communication and collaborative working style
• Full UK driving licence
