With a close-knit team of fewer than five people - including consultants with almost 30 years of experience - this is an opportunity to work directly alongside highly skilled practitioners and gain exposure to a wide range of ecological and environmental projects across Scotland.

Role Responsibilities

As Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in delivering ecological input across a varied project portfolio. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading ecological surveys and fieldwork
  • Managing small to medium-sized projects and client communication
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, assessments and licence applications
  • Supporting habitat management and restoration programmes
  • Providing guidance and support to junior colleagues
  • Contributing to project planning, scheduling and operational delivery
