QC Assistant

Location: Perth
Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a QA Administrator to join our team in Blairgowrie on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role working closely with production, ensuring food safety, quality, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times within a factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out food safety, GMP, and QC checks in line with work instructions, HACCP, calibration, and process control documentation.
• Completing factory audits related to food safety and quality, supporting teams to close out any non-conformances raised.
• Maintaining accurate product traceability and quality records, with a clear understanding of tolerances.
• Training production operators on basic quality and hygiene requirements.
• Collecting samples for laboratory testing and customer requests.
• Ensuring information is available and accurate for customer certificates.
• Assisting with customer complaint investigations.
• Ensuring hygiene standards and safe working practices are followed at all times.
• Supporting the wider quality function with any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Confident using computer systems for data capture and reporting.
• Well organised, self-motivated, with good planning and time management skills.
• Knowledge of factory operations and customer quality requirements.
• Working knowledge of HACCP and BRCGS standards.
• Previous experience in a food production environment.
• Food hygiene qualification (essential).
