Software / cloud platform working in tandem with hardware / wearable devices

Edinburgh (Hybrid)

£50,000 – £60,000 base salary 

THE COMPANY 

StretchSense is a pioneering tech scale-up in motion intelligence.  Having revolutionised the world of Motion Capture (with the premier hand tracking and motion capture solution), StretchSense is now set to redefine the world of XR Training & robotics.  By removing the barriers introduced by traditional controllers and camera-based tracking systems, the StretchSense Reality XR Glove offers a new level of immersion, enabling professionals to train as they would in real life, with their hands, naturally and intuitively. 

The StretchSense solutions are driven by next-generation stretch sensor technology with real-time AI-driven motion intelligence, bringing an entirely new level of accuracy, responsiveness and natural interaction.

THE ROLE 

This will be a great opportunity for candidates with some experience across product management, product ownership or similar project roles.

The perfect candidate will have worked at a tech startup / scaleup / SME where they helped build or design software, data, or cloud products; particularly software that enables or compliments wearable devices or any other form of hardware.

• You will be building out a portfolio of use cases whilst working on user stories & user journeys.
• Owning & building processes
• Expanding on the foundations to standardize product & ways of working within an established structure
• Quantifying & qualifying product market analysis = who the product is for, what the market needs, how big the opportunity is, and what drives purchasing decisions.
• Working at pace in a small, very agile team.

This is a key position within StretchSense, to build out their new exciting products whilst enacting & improving the product roadmap

THE PERSON 

• Ideally 2-5 years of experience in a software product focused role (or similar)
• Demonstrable experience of Product Management fundamentals (UX/UI, user journey/person mapping, user testing, etc)
• Some experience working with hardware tech highly beneficial; especially within the robotics or XR spaces (but not exclusively those sectors). Even working within a software setting where the software is enabling or complimenting hardware.  
• History of working for a tech firm, ideally a start-up, scale-up or SME.
• Someone who is keen to learn & grow with the business.
