Due to ongoing growth, an independent financial planning firm in the city centre are hiring for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Paraplanner/ Paraplanner to join the team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting financial advisers by preparing comprehensive reports, analysing client data, and assisting with financial planning processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong organisational and communication skills to contribute to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining compliance standards.

Duties

  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support financial advisers in client meetings and planning sessions.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client financial data, including investments, pensions, and estate planning.
  • Assist in developing customised financial plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and organise client information using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow and ensure clarity of information.
  • Support compliance procedures by ensuring all documentation adheres to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and best practices within the financial services sector.

Skills

  • Proven experience in report writing within a financial services environment.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with IT systems is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of financial planning principles and processes is highly desirable.
  • Previous administrative experience supporting financial advisers or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service orientation with a professional approach to client engagement.
