Are you an experienced M&A professional looking to take ownership of high-impact transactions and shape the future growth of a dynamic organisation? We’re recruiting on behalf of our highly acquisitive client, an M&A Manager to lead the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and strategic investments in this newly created role, offering the chance to influence strategic decision-making, partner closely with senior leadership, and deliver deals that help accelerate the company’s long-term ambitions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment and enjoys taking a hands-on role in driving value-creating transactions.
About the Role
As M&A Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of transactions — from sourcing and assessing opportunities to leading due diligence, financial modelling, and post-deal integration support. - Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisors to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality outputs.
Financial Modelling & Valuation
- Build, review, and refine complex financial models to evaluate transaction economics, ROI, and risk.
- Ensure assumptions are well-supported and aligned with business drivers.
Due Diligence Leadership
- Lead financial due diligence workstreams and support commercial, legal, and tax diligence.
- Identify risks, challenge assumptions, and present clear findings to senior stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with internal teams and partners to compile data, resolve issues, and ensure readiness throughout the deal cycle.
Post-Deal Support
- Contribute to integration or separation planning, monitoring synergies and ensuring smooth execution.
Process Improvement
- Help develop and standardise M&A processes, templates, and analytical frameworks to improve efficiency and governance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
- Experience managing end-to-end transaction processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analysis clearly.
