We are supporting a leading organisation in the energy and utilities sector to appoint an experienced HR Manager to support a fast-paced, customer-focused business area with a workforce of c.700 employees.
Working in close partnership with senior leadership teams, this role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering people strategies that support organisational growth, transformation and culture. You’ll be joining at an exciting time of change, with real scope to influence how people initiatives enable business performance within a dynamic and evolving sector.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of short-term and long-term people plans, partnering closely with specialist HR functions including Learning & Talent, Recruitment and Reward.
- Drive Organisation Design and Strategic Workforce Planning initiatives to ensure the business is structured for optimal performance and future growth.
- Lead Talent and Succession Planning activity, ensuring strong and sustainable pipelines for critical and leadership roles.
- Provide trusted guidance and pragmatic advice to senior leaders across the full employee lifecycle, including resourcing, reward, engagement, organisational design, change, and development.
- Partner with leadership teams to create the conditions for high performance, embedding a culture of inclusion, collaboration and accountability.
About You
- A commercially focused HR professional with strong, broad HR generalist experience and the confidence to operate at senior leadership level.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing people strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Comfortable making sound, judgement-based decisions, underpinned by strong ethics and integrity.
- A proactive and resilient approach, with the ability to drive and embed change in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective, credible relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Highly organised and structured, able to balance pace, quality and competing priorities.
