The Opportunity

We are delighted to be recruiting for an HR Adviser to join a growing business based in Aberdeen. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will be one of a two-person HR function, providing an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across all areas of HR. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on operational HR responsibilities and involvement in wider people projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practice.
• Support disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes.
• Maintain HR systems, records and reporting.
• Manage sickness absence tracking and follow-up actions.
• Process new starter and leaver administration.
• Maintain medical certification and personnel records.
• Provide general HR administration support.
• Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build positive relationships across the business.

About You

Previous experience within an HR role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. CIPD qualified or working towards is desirable.
