Eden Scottâs client is seeking experienced Banking professional with a strong understanding of facility documentation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence? Our client is looking for a Loan Operation Administrator to join a dynamic and client-focused team in Edinburgh.
In this role, youâll manage multiple credit propositions from sanction through to drawdown, ensuring all facility and security documentation is accurately produced, perfected, and completed in line with regulatory standards and internal procedures. Youâll play a key part in delivering exceptional service to high-value clients while working closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end credit processes, from approval to drawdown, across a range of propositions.
- Prepare and oversee the execution of facility and security documentation.
- Liaise with external legal advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of legal requirements.
- Collaborate with Private Bankers and internal teams to ensure seamless client service.
- Maintain high standards of compliance with relevant UK regulations (including CCA and MCOB).
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within agreed SLAs.
Person Specification
- Experience in Banking/Loan operations or a similar banking environment.
- Strong understanding of security perfection under English and/or Scottish law.
- Familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks, including CCA and MCOB.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems.
- A self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
