Paraplanner

  • Greater London
  • Permanent
  • £50,000

Job details.

A leading, forward-thinking wealth management firm based in Finchley, North London, is seeking three Paraplanners to join their growing team. This expansion follows a recent joint venture with a major European partner, focused on modernisation and growth.

The firm currently manages £1.4 billion in client assets and employs around 150 staff, offering a strong platform for progression and development. Three current Paraplanners have recently moved into advisory roles — creating opportunities for those with similar aspirations or for those who want to build a long-term Paraplanning career.

About the Role:

You will play a key part in supporting Financial Advisers across all areas of financial planning including pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical skills or prepare for the transition into an advisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed suitability reports across a wide range of advice areas
  • Conduct research into products, funds, and platforms to support client recommendations
  • Assist advisers with cashflow modelling and client reviews
  • Manage the advice process using X-Plan (training provided if required)
  • Liaise with clients, providers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Keep up to date with regulations and ensure all advice is compliant

Requirements:

  • Close to or already attained DipPFS (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in suitability report writing
  • Familiarity with X-Plan is a plus but not essential
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ambition to grow professionally within a supportive and modern business

What’s on Offer:

  • Hybrid working model (typically 2–3 days per week in-office)
  • Supportive leadership and a collaborative culture
  • Competitive salary with bonus and full benefits
  • Clear progression path – whether into advice or technical Paraplanning
  • Access to advanced tools, training, and mentoring

If you're a motivated Paraplanner ready for your next challenge in a growing, modern firm, apply today to find out more.
