An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adviser Development Manager to join a growing wealth management firm in London. This senior leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about developing Financial Planners and driving high performance in a supportive and professional environment.

The Role
As Adviser Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 10 Financial Planners. You’ll provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and performance management, helping advisers to reach their full potential and deliver exceptional service to clients.

You will also hold a small book of quality clients, providing financial advice at a high level, but your primary focus will be on the development and success of your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and performance of the advisory team
  • Set and monitor KPIs and ensure continuous improvement
  • Deliver tailored coaching, mentoring, and training programs
  • Work with senior leadership to implement growth strategies and best practices
  • Ensure high standards of client service and regulatory compliance

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial planning, investment advice, or wealth management
  • Proven success in leading and developing adviser teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge of UK financial regulations and compliance
  • Qualified to at least IAD level; Chartered status is advantageous
  • Comfortable with modern financial planning tools and CRM systems

Package and Benefits

  • £70,000 – £90,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • Discretionary bonus scheme
  • Hybrid working model – 2 to 3 days per week in the office

Location
The role is currently based in Canary Wharf but may relocate to another London office before the end of 2025.
