Based in Huntsville, Alabama, with a nationwide reach, we left successful careers in the industry to help companies attract and hire top talent. SCOPE Recruiting began with a simple realization: traditional recruiters often don’t understand the work they’re hiring for.
Melissa, a seasoned supply chain professional, saw this firsthand when she transitioned from managing operations and procurement to recruiting. While working at a boutique search firm, she quickly noticed a gap: her colleagues were skilled recruiters but lacked the industry experience to truly understand supply chain roles. Clients needed partners who could speak their language, grasp the complexity of their operations, and identify candidates who could actually perform.
That insight lef Melissa to start SCOPE Recruiting, joined shortly after by Friddy, also a former supply chain leader with experience in global manufacturing and procurement. Together, they built a recruiting firm that reversed the industry model — hiring professionals from within supply chain and teaching them how to recruit, rather than teaching recruiters the basics of supply chain.
Nearly a decade later, SCOPE Recruiting remains true o that founding principle. Every recruiter on teh team comes from logistics, procurement, or operations leadership. They know what success looks like, where to find it, and how to evaluate it.
What began as a two-person vision has grown into a nationally recognized search firm helping global organizations hire with confidence, grounded in real-world experience, measurable results, and an unwavering focus on finding the right fit the first time.
