Job Description:
Are you ready to step into a pivotal role as a Project Planner? This exciting opportunity involves coordinating and planning various projects, ensuring their timely and budget-conscious completion. As a Project Planner, you will:
- Develop tender plans in collaboration with the Sales and Tendering departments.
- Assist in creating engineering design plans that integrate seamlessly into the overall project plan.
- Transform tender programs into fully integrated project schedules covering design, procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning.
- Maintain multiple project schedules using MS Project, ensuring updates reflect internal resources, task progress, and supplier status.
- Communicate planned vs. actual performance with Project Managers, identifying critical paths and areas for improvement.
- Assess the effects of client changes on schedules, coordinating with Project Managers to issue delay notices and adjust plans.
- Create and refine project templates for a standardized approach to planning.
This role demands excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to ensuring project success.
Skills & Experience:
To succeed as a Project Planner, you should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in OEM environments and proficiency with ERP systems like IFS or SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Project and Excel.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally at all levels.
- A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience in project management and a solid understanding of project planning principles.
