Company Overview

We are working with the world’s leading renewable manufacturer who are undergoing one of the most exciting, large scale industrial developments in many years.

As a Process Engineer you will be part of the core project team, to deliver the UK’s first ‘at scale Gigafactory’. Responsible for the delivery of a specified zone, from design to mass production.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar role.
• Experience of working in a high-volume manufacturing environment such as automotive, or in a COMAH environment such as pharmaceutical/chemical.
• Exposure to production planning, scheduling, control & project management.
• Experience of lean manufacturing techniques and principles.
• Experience working within APQP, IAFT framework is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent engineering department in all aspects from initial project phase to mass production of the Gigafactory.
• Lead the development of a manufacturing zone, working within a multi-disciplined team.
• Develop processes from design to integration and implementation, attending design reviews and working with equipment suppliers.
• Set & Measure process performance.
• Agree quality strategies to achieve KPI and quality targets.
• Provide / Approve the process engineering documentation necessary to allow standard operations to be followed at all stages of production.
• Procurement of production facilities & processes.
