Job Description: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative mechanical assemblies within a growing engineering team. Your work will encompass the full product development lifecycle, from conceptual design to large-scale manufacturing, using state-of-the-art 3D CAD and PLM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical assemblies for new product lines.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
- Contribute to the conceptualisation of groundbreaking designs.
- Ensure precision and quality in manufacturing through tolerance analysis and detailed drafting.
- Engage in hands-on engineering and prototype procurement.
- Use advanced SolidWorks tools and PDM/PLM software to enhance productivity.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or Inventor for 3D modelling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including casting, injection molding, and CNC machining.
- Experience with tolerance stacks and manual fabrication methods.
- Practical engineering skills and a hands-on approach.
