Job Description:
As the Master Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in integrating data across departments such as sales, engineering, and operations to create optimized production schedules. Your expertise will ensure alignment between operational plans and sales forecasts, contributing directly to the success of live projects and strategic initiatives.
In this role, the Master Scheduler will develop and maintain the master project schedule, analyze capacity constraints, and adjust schedules to meet dynamic business demands. Collaborating closely with teams across production, procurement, and quality assurance, you will lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and facilitate monthly S&OP meetings, presenting insights that drive strategic decisions. As a mentor and leader, you will manage and guide Project Planners to achieve excellence in resource allocation and project delivery.
Skills & Experience:
To succeed as a Master Scheduler, you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a customer-focused approach.
- Substantial experience managing scheduling, ideally with a team of Project or Production Planners.
- Expertise in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, including integrating forecasts and strategic 5-year planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project and Excel.
- Previous project management experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of IT proficiency and ability to analyze complex data to inform decision-making.
