Company Overview
We are working with the world’s leading renewable manufacturer who are undergoing one of the most exciting, large scale industrial developments in many years.
As an Equipment Engineer you will deliver and maintain plant processes and equipment, whilst providing support to site functions like production, QA and maintenance.
Skills & Experience
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
- Project management experience from cradle to grave to include design and installation.
- Knowledge machinery standards and current legislation of such as CE or ATEX.
- Experience of scrap reduction, SOP’s & OEE.
- Some PLC and systems knowledge is desirable but not essential (Siemens / Mitsubishi etc.).
- Experience in complex technical manufacturing processes and/or special purpose assembly machines would be a distinct advantage.
- Previous experience in high volume manufacture, clean/dry room experience is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Represent the engineering department in all equipment aspects from initial project phase to mass production of the Gigafactory.
- Ensure all equipment’s are safe and legally compliant from design to integration and implementation, attending design reviews and working with equipment suppliers.
- Set & Measure facility performance.
- Agree equipment strategies to ensure equipment OEE is achieved and improved while life cycles are managed and maximized.
- Provide technical support for maintenance to ensure equipment is kept in first class condition.
- Planning, Schedule Control & Project Management.
- Procurement of production equipment & processes.
