Job Description:

  • Design offshore and subsea equipment, including Interactive control stations, power panels and distributed control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across: Mechanical disciplines, hydraulic disciplines and software disciplines.
  • Ensure seamless system integration.
  • Work with high- and low-voltage systems.
  • Develop control circuits.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including Design specifications and user manuals.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT).
  • Provide after-sales technical support.
  • Occasional travel for offshore and overseas work may be required.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (minimum 2:1).
  • Practical experience with machine control systems and automation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Inventor experience is an advantage).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in designing power distribution systems, control panels, and safety systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, network protocols, and subsea surveillance equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.
