Our client, a leading direct-to-consumer insurance services company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing team.

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in executing a variety of accounting processes and supporting financial operations directly tied to business profitability. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the reconciliation of costs related to partner and digital lead generation.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate cost recognition and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform month-end closing processes, especially related to costs and accruals.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations related to payroll.
• Handle intercompany transactions and ensure accurate financial statement presentation.
• Assist with external audit preparation and documentation.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
• Support special projects and contribute positively to team initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite (a plus)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
